What is Youth Vision?
Youth Vision is something new we are starting every month. It is a “newsletter” to keep you - whether parents, teens, kids, deacons, and members alike - up to date on all things happening in our youth ministry.
ou may have missed a key word in the paragraph above. Go back and read it again. Still unsure? It’s the word “our.” This youth ministry is not mine, it’s not the kids’, and it’s not the parents’. It’s ours. The youth ministry belongs to the church because the youth are members of the church.
I am so excited to bring this form of communication to everyone. You can check out Youth Vision for upcoming events, short articles, updates on our kids, and much more!
There’s a lot to be grateful for at Germantown. Of course, I am very grateful for the youth. Since my arrival a little over a year ago, I’ve seen at least 12 of our youth put Christ on in baptism. I’ve seen them lead studies with one another. I’ve seen them love, laugh, and cry together.
I am reminded of III John 4, which says, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” I feel that way here. I hope you do, too.
