Can you believe it? August is here! We begin one of my favorite monthly themes as we continue to work on our annual theme of “For Such a Time as This.”

Our Summer Series continues to do exactly what we want it to do. We are having excellent lessons presented from area preachers and our teachers are getting a respite from teaching - and are preparing for teaching upcoming classes in the fall.

Doesn’t it seem that at church we have the same conversations with people week after week? If you aren’t careful you might think that this seemingly careless and inconsequential exchange is meaningless. However, most of us use these exchanges as a starting point for further discussions.

It was good to worship together on Sunday, as we remembered the weekly memorial to Jesus Christ as a part of our worship service.
