Do you want the bad news, or good news?

Would you like to hear some good news? Me too. We are inundated with news. In fact, all the negative news a person can find. We are obsessed with bad news. Whether it's severe weather, economic downturns, political scandals or social unrest. We are alerted and jolted by our common concerns. When was the last time someone called you just to say, “Hey, I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about what you did for someone else the other day, and I just wanted to say ‘thank you.’”

Now, that would be good news, wouldn't it? Well, let me tell you some good news. There is a God in heaven who created everything you see right now. And I mean everything he created for a purpose, including you. You are facing enough troubles to keep you praying, enough challenges to keep you humble, and enough blessings to keep you going.

Why not pray to God today and just say “thank you?”
