New to Germantown

When you walk into one of our Bible classes or worship services, you will see a wide variety of dress. Some of our members choose to wear suits & ties and dresses, while others prefer a more casual look. Choose to wear what makes you comfortable.

•We have three entrances to our parking lot along Poplar Pike. You will find visitor parking in the spots closest to our building.

•If you need to drop off children for Bible class, you may want to park at the back of our building and then enter through the doors on the left.

•If you’re interested in attending our teen, adult, or Grace Land Bible classes, you can park at the back of the building and enter through the doors to the right, or park along the East side of the building and come in through that entrance. Grace Land and Teen classes are upstairs.

•If you’re looking for our auditorium, you can park in the front and then come in through either the East or West entrances.

For our Sunday morning worship at 9am, you will go directly to the auditorium. For our 10:15am Bible classes you have three options:

• Make your way to the Fellowship Hall where we have two adult Bible class offerings.

• Walk to the back hallway on the East side of the building to find more adult Bible classrooms.

• Find a seat in the auditorium for another adult Bible class option.

If you want to come for one of our Wednesday Bible studies at 7pm, join us in the auditorium first for a brief devotional period. We will then break out into our classrooms.

You will always be greeted at the door by a friendly face who will answer any questions you may have. Look for the information tables in the front foyer where you can pick up a weekly bulletin, a flyer on current Bible class offerings, or get additional information about our congregation. You may also notice video screens in the front foyer which will tell you more about our Bible classes and upcoming events.

• Kids younger than 1st grade meet in our Children’s Bible School wing, located just behind the auditorium toward the South side of the building.

• Children in 1st-6th grades meet upstairs in Grace Land. Our teens meet upstairs as well, in our Youth Room. There are two sets of stairs to choose from: one just inside our East entrance, and the other just inside our South entrance at the back of the building.

• We have a Children’s Bible Hour available on Sunday evenings for kids 3 years up to 1st grade. You can drop your children off in our Children’s Bible School wing, located just behind the auditorium.

• A cry room is located at the back of the auditorium, should you need it during one of our worship services.

• Each worship service lasts about one hour.

• There are no assigned seats, so please sit wherever you like.

• You will be encouraged and spiritually challenged with a sermon taken directly from the Word of God.

• You will hear a mix of classic hymns and contemporary songs, all sung a cappella (without instruments). The lyrics and music will be provided on the video screens for all to sing along.

• We pattern our worship services based on the New Testament teachings.

• We offer communion every Sunday as a memorial and remembrance of our Lord’s death on the cross (1 Corinthians 11:26).

• Each week we take up a collection to support the work of the church. This time of offering is for our members, so you are in no way obligated to give.

• You will have an opportunity to record your attendance. Simply scan the QR code on the video screen when it appears and take the time to tell us about yourself.
