When you are in the ‘midst of the storm,’ you may be tempted to think that nothing productive is happening—that everyone is just busy. But busy-ness is evident when hard work is taking place.

The 2026 Vacation Bible School is now history - and as of this writing - it was a tremendous success. Because of the work of so many - and there were ‘so many,’ the children were the beneficiaries of a combined effort to share how to “Win at the Game of Life.”

Today promises to be a ‘red letter day.’ I understand that term to mean ‘a day you won’t want to forget.’ Here is why I think it will be a great day…

Vacation Bible School is almost here! Everything is in preparation. You won’t want to miss any of it. Children and adults will have classes, so be sure to come. Classes on June 14-17, 6:00 each night! Block party on June 18.

You just don’t realize how great we have it at Germantown! We are blessed with men, women, boys and girls who are not only learning about Jesus Christ, they are learning ways to share that good news with others.

Well, they are here! JP introduces our interns to us today - as he already has on Wednesday night.

We are so proud of our graduating seniors. The reception that was held in their honor was tremendous and we had numerous people who came just to be a part of it.

Happy Mothers Day! It is a beautiful time for us to pause and remember our mothers. Mother’s Day is not a biblical day, but the concept of nurturing and encouraging mothers is certainly taught in the Bible, either explicitly or implicitly.
