Family Talk

Sundar Maddala and I plan to leave for India on Monday morning. Here is one event that is in the ‘review mirror’ and two that are quickly approaching. Please pray for all of our efforts. It is good to be in God’s family and we look forward to seeing you very soon!
Elder’s Breakfast
Our Elders Breakfast took a while to occur, didn’t it? What a morning! I think the best part of the morning will be all those who had cabin fever, who will just want to get out and be around God’s people for a time of fellowship, questions and prayer. By the time you read this, it will be history. But the plans put in place will be blooming and blossoming during the span of the next 12 months. Let’s continue to pray that God will help us grow to be what the church at Germantown should be; God’s people, growing in love with the Lord and with one another.
Area Wide Youth Rally
The monthly area-wide Youth Rally will be held at our building on Sunday, February 22. JP Wamble will be speaking and they will meet with the entire congregation. This is a highlight and I am glad we can serve as ‘hosts’ to young people (and their helpful and interested chaperones and assistants). Creating good memories is important in the work of the church.
Gospel Meeting with Mark McInteer
We have been planning for some time to have Mark McInteer back with us-and he is scheduled to speak at all our services on Sunday, February 22nd. Mark has a long history with the churches in Memphis, as well as Nashville, and directly or indirectly, all around the globe. Don’t miss this day!
