These are just some of the participants in our Lads to Leaders program. These happen to be the ones that spoke last Sunday night. We’ll have more participating on Sunday night, April 13. We have many more youth and parents involved in the actual training and participation (not all events are public.

Yes, we are preparing for our egg hunt on April 12. Last year, it was a little cold outside, but that did not dampen the earnest way in which friends and neighbors came to search the field for eggs. We had plastic eggs (with treats) for the older children and eggs (with treats) for younger children who needed assistance. I had the privilege of meeting plenty of neighbors - and each person was invited to church.

Summer is just around the corner, isn’t it? The thermometer is leaning in the direction of warmer temperatures and the sun is more welcome than ever! Our children are busily involved in Lads to Leaders and we are preparing to help them achieve some of their personal spiritual goals in coming days.

We had a ‘full house’ on Sunday night, didn’t we? Many thanks to our elders for allowing and encouraging these efforts. We had many, many congregations represented and with the new QR code that Clint Till established for us, we will be able to better track who has come and where they are from.

I hope you enjoyed the elder’s presentation of Bibles to our children last Sunday morning before our worship service. The idea is to encourage all of us to read our Bibles as well as celebrate the births of these precious little ones in the year 2024.

What a great snow!! I still can’t believe it. I enjoyed watching the snow fall and never once thought about getting out and shoveling snow. I know there are people in other parts of the country that would love to have a beautiful snow that didn’t last long. I’m so grateful! We certainly had an outstanding area-wide youth rally last Sunday night.
