My situation will never improve

Too many people think that our moral situation in life is so atrocious, it could never improve. I’m glad the Bible has a different story.

For example, there was once a man who was a very conservative, religious man who was always devoted to serving God to the best of his ability. Anyone that contradicted his teachings became the enemy and he would hunt them down and eliminate them. His reputation was widely known.

But on a journey to the city of Damascus, he had a vision from the Lord. He learned from God that he was misdirected in his choices in life. This man, named Paul, would not only grieve over his religious practices, but also receive forgiveness and look to the future. The man that once persecuted Christ – wrote in a letter to a church that he could do all things through Christ who strengthened him.

You see – there is hope for all of us.
