Our Timing vs. God’s Timing

Have you ever wondered why your timing and God’s timing don’t ever seem to match?

There is a story in the Bible of a man who faced the same problem.  His name was Moses.  Talk about timing.  At the time he was born, the Egyptian Pharoah was killing all the Hebrew children because the number of Hebrew children was growing – and the Egyptians feared they would be overtaken.  Because of the cleverness of Moses’ mother, the very child that Pharoah should have eliminated, he ended up feeding, clothing and educating. 

• When Moses was 40 – he thought he should lead.  God did not.

• When he was 80 – God thought Moses should lead.  Moses did not.

 God was involved in Moses life from beginning to end – in ways he would have never dreamed possible.  (He wants to be involved in our lives, too.)
