Who is the Greatest?
Isn’t that an odd question? After all, how many people ever qualify as the greatest in anything? And if you did want to become the greatest—how many people would really know? How could they tell? Would you judge it by money? In other words, is the wealthiest man around the greatest? Or maybe its power? The one who has the most power in society is the greatest.
The Bible tells us that the son of God chose 12 men to be close workers with Him. He called all His disciples together—prayed all night—then chose just 12. Wouldn’t that make them pretty special? As they followed Jesus and He taught them, do you know what they argued about most? Who is the greatest of these 12?
Jesus turned to them and told them how to judge the greatest. By the way, it had nothing to do with money—nothing to do with power. He said the greatest is the one who serves the others.
In your world, who is the greatest?
