Area-Wide Worship Service Today! 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm
O Worship the King!
Speakers: Tim Alsup Great Oaks church of Christ Michael Jackson Boulevard church of Christ
It is always a great time when we can come together with brothers and sisters across the city - and the area - and worship together. There is no ulterior motive other than coming together to worship God. The people coming are ready to participate. We’ll have men from other congregations leading our thoughts in the sermons, both designed to address our ‘assigned’ topic of, Worship the King! We’ll have some of our young men involved in leading us in prayer and reading scripture to us. It has always been a significant night for us to be able to reach out and make new friends as well as reconnect with those with whom we haven’t seen in a while and just ‘catch up.’ We’ve planned to have ample time to visit before and after our services. We will have light refreshments (cookies and coffee) available in the fellowship hall for those who would like to sit down and visit. I hope you take advantage of this opportunity. The Memphis area is filled with people who are seeking God’s will and are earnestly growing in spirit. Let’s encourage them by joining with our guests today.
