Too many people think that our moral situation in life is so atrocious, it could never improve. I’m glad the Bible has a different story.

What do you do when you’re afraid? It can be a real dilemma. I can run and hide. Or I can stand up and face the issue alone.  Maybe there’s another option.

Feeling overlooked or taken for granted? There is a story about a young boy who seemed to get the lowliest of jobs.

Are you discouraged? There is a story of an affluent man by the name of Job, and his wife, who had a family that absolutely loved being together.

Does it seem like you work so hard and no one seems to notice?

Do you ever feel as though God has forgotten you? There is a story in the Bible of a man who very well could have thought himself to have been forgotten by God.  Everyone else surely seemed to forget him.

Ever feel punished by God?  I mean, suffering for no reason? Ever been tempted to think that your sin caused it? 

Commitment.  How long has it been since you’ve seen it? There is a story of a man with an unusual name and an unique sense of commitment.

Have you ever wondered why your timing and God’s timing don’t ever seem to match? There is a story in the Bible of a man who faced the same problem. His name was Moses.
